MARIA CAMPOS-LOPEZ

Baby Sleep and Positive Parenting Specialist

Lawyer and Educator

CEO, Himbing.ph

Maria Campos Lopez is a Certified Sleep and Behavior Coach, Owner. She is also the founder of Himbing Child Sleep and Behavior Solutions (@himbing.ph).

Ria is a mom of 2, an educator and a lawyer. With her first son, she learned that sleep did not come naturally to all babies, and that she had to learn all about sleep- as her son needed to learn to fall to sleep independently and through the night. She realized that sleep is such an important part of our lives and there was a lack of education here in the Philippines. As sleep fell into place, she noticed she had a full blown toddler and knew that she also needed tools to learn how to turn the terrible twos to the terrific toddler years. She then also  learned about RIE which is a respectful parenting philosophy and also got her certification to be a positive parenting coach.

Ria is an advocate of safe sleep and healthy sleep habits. Sleep training is a scary term and no family should have to do that but by allowing their child to learn and setting up the appropriate environment, sleep will come. There is no perfect parent but Ria does want to be a better parent, which means really being a better version of herself to be a role model to her two boys- taking small steps everyday to practice being a consistent and respectful mom.

Ria has helped over a hundred families through private consults and has given many talks for schools and major events for mom communities like MommyMundo. She has written articles for blogs and magazines and has appeared on TV and the radio.
